چکیده
BackgroundResident sensitive quality measures (RSQMs) are a new patient-focused approach to performance assessment. Their alignment with existing constructs is underexplored.ObjectiveDevelop and prioritize RSQMs for outpatient general pediatrics in the areas of well visits (0–2 months, 1, 5 years) compare framework Bright Futures recommendations.MethodsCategorical pediatric residents, academic fellows, faculty participated nominal group technique (NGT) Delphi processes generate 3 different well-child interest. The author team then compared content final American Academy Pediatrics recommendations.ResultsFrom list 143 potential from NGT groups, 15 were prioritized each visit. vaccine administration, documentation screening, medication management. As part of a dedicated process of reexamining the structure of residency training in pediatrics, the American Board of Pediatrics sought information to better understand the influences, process, and sequencing of both residency program selection and...
متن کاملQuality measures for protein alignment benchmarks
Multiple protein sequence alignment methods are central to many applications in molecular biology. These methods are typically assessed on benchmark datasets including BALIBASE, OXBENCH, PREFAB and SABMARK, which are important to biologists in making informed choices between programs. In this article, annotations of domain homology and secondary structure are used to define new measures of alig...
متن کاملQuality measures for the care of patients with lateral epicondylalgia
BACKGROUND Lateral epicondylalgia (LE) defines a condition of varying degrees of pain near the lateral epicondyle. Studies on the management of LE indicated unexplained variations in the use of pharmacologic, non-pharmacological and surgical treatments. The main aim of this paper was to develop and evaluate clinical quality measures (QMs) or quality indicators, which may be used to assess the q...
متن کاملQuality measures for the care of patients with narcolepsy.
ABSTRACT The American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) commissioned a Workgroup to develop quality measures for the care of patients with narcolepsy. Following a comprehensive literature search, 306 publications were found addressing quality care or measures. Strength of association was graded between proposed process measures and desired outcomes. Following the AASM process for quality measure...
